The AMAP (Associations for the maintenance of farming) have nearly 10 years in France, but 40 in Japan, 20 in the USA, and will be 8 in Midi-Pyrenees 31 January 2011 .. . The AMAP
are citizen initiatives, a partnership between a farmer and the people it feeds to keep this farmer feeder operating in a context where France has 35,000 farms and less each year, and it can work in good conditions with a decent income.
It also allow the farmer to keep his land, to practice a healthy agriculture without synthetic chemicals, re-cultivation of the crop biodiversity in the process of being lost, to preserve endangered breeds old.
An AMAP is an initiative of solidarity economy, may simply be a way to recreate human relationships between people just living in the same territory in the practice of healthy agriculture without synthetic products.
Free admission. These conferences are aimed at a broad audience.
